RELATED MATERIALS:
- FLEXCOAT high-quality elastic waterproofing paint
- FLEX-PRIMER high-quality acrylic water-based primer
- DUROCRET polymer-modified cement mortar
- UNICRET cement-lime mortar
- UNICRET-FAST fast-setting cement-lime mortar
- PLANFIX polymer-modified cement putty
- PLANFIX-FINE extra fine-grained polymer-modified putty
- ISOMASTIC-A elastoplastic acrylic sealant

I. NATURE OF THE PROBLEM – REQUIREMENTS
Exterior walls are continuously exposed to rain and moisture. Poor quality paints, surface cracks or degradation allow water to penetrate, resulting in damp walls, flaking and staining. The coating must keep water out, bridge small and larger cracks, allow vapour to escape, adhere strongly to the substrate and provide an aesthetically pleasing and washable finish.

II. SOLUTION
FLEXCOAT is a high-quality elastic, waterproof coating. It forms a watertight barrier yet is highly elastic, allowing it to bridge cracks that develop due to expansion and shrinkage. It lets water vapour escape, adheres strongly to concrete, render, brick and other substrates, resists UV rays and weathering, and provides a washable, decorative finish. FLEXCOAT can be applied on interior and exterior surfaces.

III. APPLICATION

1. Substrate preparation:
- Surfaces must be dry, sound and clean. Remove loose, crumbly paint and dust.
- Repair holes, cavities and spalled concrete using DUROCRET or UNICRET or UNICRET-FAST polymer-modified mortars. Smooth exposed concrete surfaces with PLANFIX or PLANFIX-FINE.
- Widen cracks at least 5 mm and fill them with ISOMASTIC-A elastoplastic sealant.
- Allow repairs to harden and sand if necessary. Prime the surface.

2. Priming:
- Apply FLEX-PRIMER on the prepared substrate to stabilise it and improve adhesion. Consumption is approximately 100-200 g/m² depending on surface absorption.
- Let the primer dry completely.

3. Application of FLEXCOAT:
- Stir the paint thoroughly. Apply FLEXCOAT undiluted or dilute it with up to 5% clean water.
- Apply two coats using a brush, roller or airless spray. Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second.
- For severe cracks, reinforce the first coat by embedding polyester fabric while the paint is still wet. Apply a second coat on top. The overall coverage is about 8-10 m² per litre per coat (1-1.5 m² per litre if reinforced).

IV. REMARKS
- Apply at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C.
- Do not apply on frozen or extremely hot surfaces or during rain.
- Stir thoroughly before use and do not add excessive water.
- Allow each coat to dry fully before applying the next.
- Protect the coating from rain for at least 4 hours after application.
- Use protective gloves and follow the safety instructions on the packaging.
